notes on 3 mile walk 6.1.10

Mood:
not bad, but not the best. stark contrast from last week, i just wasn't feelin it this morning. then its like, i start to feel worse because i'm not feeling super giddy. weird and annoying

Weather: beautiful, 74F

Conversation Topic(s) talked about our mood and how to stay positive even though its really draining

Nutrition: fruit salad before

Effort: 2/5 we walked :/

notes on 3 mile run, 5.27.10

Mood:
little groggy this morning compared to the rest of the week, but still feeling great! thinkin the grogginess may be from eating a bunch of food right before bed

Weather: perfect, sunny morning. 74F when we left. the sun felt so good!

Conversation Topic(s) didn't talk much, jessica wants to due a diorama project

Nutrition: fruit salad before, OJ after

Effort: 3/5 started to get a little hard at the end, but still a solid 3miler. walked about 2 blocks at the end to cool down. definitely glad we get to take the day off from running tomorrow, because my legs are starting to feel it. looking forward to doing some hiking and biking tomorrow, though. i love running!

Mood:
great! love getting up super early in the summer and getting our shit done! our first time this summer getting up to run before our SL meeting. woot!

Weather: amazing. a perfect, cloudy summer morning. no complaints :D

Conversation Topic(s) what we are grateful for. going to keep magickfood.com and start up the lifestream for it.

Nutrition: fruit salad before. bar and OJ after. bout to have a smoothie

Effort: 3/5 great run! we really pushed ourselves, and i'm so glad we did. we were going to walk the last 1.5miles or so, but we kept pushing and ran them! really getting used to the vibrams!

notes on 3 mile run, 5.26.10

Mood:
ecstatic! we finally woke up on time, had a great breakfast, and meditated before leaving for the run. i am feeling positively giddy!

Weather: perfect!! left at about 7:10am, cloudy and 74F. absolutely amazing morning in austin.

Conversation Topic(s) we are going swimming and going to bingo today! and we are going to win at bingo!!!

Nutrition: fruit salad and a bar before. a little orange juice after.

Effort: 3/5 best run evAr!!! last night, as i was falling asleep, i imagined that we would have the best run of our lives and we did! instead of hoping my legs didn't hurt, i told myself that they weren't going to. i played the movie in my mind of us being strong and limber and getting the run done. and we did! our legs were feeling great and we are finally getting used to the vibrams. and we had our best time ever, even in regular shoes!!! the law of attraction works! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. i am so grateful!!

notes on 3 mile run, 5.13.10

Mood:
feeling good. meant to get up way earlier, but ended up sleeping in. we talked about skipping and doing our miles on friday. jessica got us up and out of bed and on the run, which i was really grateful for, because i hate skipping miles. we could have gotten up at 630, but it was too cold and dark! would really like to start doing runs at 7am, though.

Weather: little hot, but cloudy.

Conversation Topic(s) brainstorming names for web design school. dont remember what else.

Nutrition: fruit salad. felt kinda full, but good. i do feel like the chia helps with hydration. haven't had any cramps lately, which is nice.

Effort: 3/5 ran about 2miles of it. my legs have really been hurting with the vibrams, but i think i will get used to it eventually.

Mood:
took a little nap beforehand, so was feeling a little groggy.

Weather: nice, cool evening

Conversation Topic(s) two new business plans: raw vegan food delivery and teaching web design. started out pretty silent. jess had a bad dream about lifestreaming and that some people were going to kill her because of her lifestream. both of us were feeling kind of shitty because we don't know how we are going to get money. we think both of these ideas have legs, though, so we were feeling pretty good once we got to talking about it.

Nutrition: banana and a couple bars

Effort: 1/5 just walked to whole foods and back.

notes on 3 mile run, 5.11.10 | first vibram run!

Mood:
woke up a little later than we wanted to, but looking forward to the run. felt good to be back!

Weather: beautiful, albeit hot, morning. the heat feels great!

Conversation Topic(s) didn't really talk much, i think we were both kinda out of breath from the heat

Nutrition: fruit salad with chia

Effort: 3/5 felt soooo good to run again. i missed it! this was our first run in our vibrams. definitely noticed a difference in the legs. could feel the different muscles being used right after we started. started to feel pretty good for a bit, but legs started hurting after a couple miles. i think i'm getting a blister on my toe. jess got some pretty bad blisters :/ but, we think that is just how it is with the vibrams and we'll just have to get used to it. we think it will be worth it in the end.
